Mr Aldin is a very nice, considered, empathetic and highly skilled Radiologist. He performed a Prostatic Artery Embolisation on me at Princess Alexandra Hospital, Harlow which so far has been a great success. I had a large prostate and was having sleepless nights and restrictions on my daily plans/holidays due to problems with blocked catheters and infections etc. The procedure is non invasive (day case), no surgery and no/minimal pain afterwards. What is there not to advocate. The procedure has a great success rate and is not widely known about - why not I have no idea - surely it should be considered in the first instance as opposed to surgery. Amazing procedure, amazing doctor in my experience.

So pleased with Dr Aldin & his team at Princess Alexander Hospital. Gave me great confidence before, during & after my Prostrate Arterial Embolisation procedure. I am already getting very positive results & have been able to reduce the medication I was taking pre procedure & enjoying much less night disturbance. I would highly recommend Dr Aldin, with his very pleasant manner, to all suffering a very enlarged Prostrate. The minimally invasive procedure was completely pain-free.

I had an enlarged prostate that was affecting my health an my quality of life. My urologist suggested that I speak with Mr. Aldin who was specialising in a new procedure, embolisation, that could reduce the reduce the size of my prostate in a non invasive way. I had a consultation with Dr. Aldin who explained the pros and cons of the procedure. It was decided that I was a suitable candidate and I had the embolisation at the end of September 2021at PAH as a day case There was some discomfort, but very little pain for the first 10days. I noticed an Improvement in my condition after after about 6 weeks, and by mid November I was able to enjoy a return to normal life style. Dr. monitored my progress throughout and I have no hesitation in recommending both Dr. Aldin and the procedure.

After more than 10 years of struggling to cope with the effects of a very enlarged prostate - PSA test scores of 6+ resulting in me having two biopsies (never again!), IPSS scores of 20+ because I could never afford to be far away from a toilet day and night, treatment with Tamsulosin and in combination with Finasteride, which improved my condition only slightly - I've finally got my life back and my prostate can get on with is normal job unnoticed. In 2019, my urologist mentioned this newish non-surgical procedure called Prostate Artery Embolisation (PAE) and after some tests, including MRI scans, Flowrate and ultrasound measurements, he suggested I might be a good candidate for the procedure and referred me to the interventional radiologist, Dr Aldin. There were more tests and long discussions during which Dr Aldin explained the procedure fully, answered my questions and addressed my concerns. We agreed a date, which turned out to be around the period of the raging COVID pandemic in 2020. Finally, I had the procedure done in August 2021 by Dr Aldin and his very friendly and confident team. Two weeks later, the side effects of the procedure (bleeding, pain when peeing) had subsided sufficiently for me to notice an improvement in my enlarged prostate symptoms. A month later, my condition had been transformed - I was peeing like a teenager, I stopped worrying about where the nearest toilet was, and could sometimes go through the night without having to use the toilet; my IPSS score had gone down to less than 5. It's now four months since the procedure and I've just had my follow-up appointment with Dr Aldin: he and I are excited about the dramatic improvement in my condition.

Dr Aldin treated me in October 2020 with a relatively new procedure called prostate embolisation, to deal with an enlarged prostate. After a thorough pre med meeting, the procedure went very well, I was home the same day, and after effects were very limited in terms of time. The result of the procedure is an amazing reduction in the size of my prostate, a significant reduction in my PSA count, and most importantly a vastly improved quality of life in terms of reducing the need to pee, particularly during the night. I am now off of all prostate medication, and normal life has resumed. I really encourage men suffering from an enlarged prostate to seek the opportunity to have the embolisation procedure. Dr Aldin has improved the quality of my daily life to a significant degree. Thank you Sir.
